Those plug-in all together provide convenient features aiming to help development for STM32 boards hosting an MCU.
In the end, the two STM32 families are covered regarding their MCU support:

• the hybrid STM32 composed of :
  • a Micro Processor Unit (MPU), ARM Cortex-A based running for example Linux or Android

  The first member of the hybrid STM32 is STM32MP15, hosting a Cortex-A7 (MPU) and a Cortex-M4 (MCU) addressed by two Eclipse plug-in:

  • SystemWorkbench for STM32 for the generic Cortex-M4 support,
  • STM32-CoPro-MPU for support of hybrid architecture specificities.
